I was stationed there in 1979-1981 at H.E.H. Naval Communication Station as a young seaman in the U.S. Navy. I worked on a boat crew that accessed this pier every day to launch a 40 foot fishing boat as part of recreational services on the base. It’s really beautyful there and I plan on returning there when I retire and do some more fishing and diving. We use to go to the Pot Shot Inn in Exmouth.
